North america: United states of america
What to See in the USA
In America, we have tons of attractions. Because of all of our 50 states, we have have lots of history and things do. In New York, you have the history of the World Trade Center, Statue of Liberty, 9/11 museum, Empire State Building, etc. In California, you have the Hollywood sign, the Hall of Fame, Disneyland, Alcatraz Island, etc. Those are just 2 states with a few attractions. There is WAY more. If you do not speak English, it is one of the hardest languages to learn. So I would suggest bringing a translator. The people in America, do not have one label. We came to America to be free of the rules on religion, our civil rights, no certain race, and more. It's a free country. |
South America: Brazil
What to See in Brazil
In Brazil, there are also lots of attractions. If you choose to go to Brazil, you must be prepared for the environment and culture. Since it is right next to the equator, it's very humid and covered with rain forests. Because of that, the rainfall is happens very often. You can visit Christ the Redeemer (on the left) to Iguazu Falls. People there speak Portuguese which is a pretty easy language to learn. In Brazil, they use for money "Brazilian Real" which is a lot like American Money. The Brazilian culture is one of the world’s most varied and diverse. This is due to its being a melting pot of nationalities, as a result of centuries of European domination as well as slavery, which brought hordes of African migrants across Brazil’s borders to live in and influence the local cultures with their ancient customs and ideas. When the Europeans came, they brought ideas and new beliefs which caused all of the different cultures. |
central America: Costa Rica
What to See in Costa Rica
In Costa Rica, their main attractions are rivers and volcanoes. Since there is so many, they have an extremely humid climate. And again, they are near the equator. The national language in Costa Rica, is Spanish so when you visit there it won't be hard to pick up on. Something that you need to be aware of if you go, if you are a women you are expected by some sexist men to be pretty and wear makeup and dress nicely. It's changed for the better, but they still do it. The people there also were taught to be peaceful and not get mad. So they generally avoid conflict. |
